1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using DIY Mower (the "app"), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Description of service
DIY Mower provides AI-assisted diagnosis of riding lawn mower problems based on descriptions, photos, or videos you submit, along with suggested replacement parts and optional local shop and maintenance tracking features. The app is provided for informational and educational purposes only.
3. No professional advice
Diagnoses and part suggestions are generated by AI and are not a substitute for advice from a qualified small-engine mechanic or the equipment manufacturer. Always consult your mower's manual and a professional before performing repairs. You are responsible for your own safety and for verifying any part, part number, or repair instruction before acting on it.
4. User content
You retain ownership of the photos, videos, and text you submit. By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to process it solely to generate your diagnosis and operate the service. You represent that you have the right to submit the content and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party. Do not submit content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes someone else's rights.
5. Accounts
Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
6. Third-party links and purchases
Part suggestions may link to third-party retailers such as Amazon through affiliate links. We are not responsible for the availability, pricing, or accuracy of products on third-party sites. Any purchase you make is subject to that retailer's terms and policies. As an Amazon Associate, DIY Mower may earn from qualifying purchases.
7. Advertising
The app may display advertising served by third parties, including Google AdSense. Advertisers are responsible for the content of their ads. We are not responsible for the products or services advertised.
8. Intellectual property
The app's design, branding, and original content are owned by DIY Mower. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute our content without permission.
9. Limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, DIY Mower and its operators are not liable for any damages, injuries, or losses arising from your use of the app or reliance on its diagnoses or suggestions, including any repairs you perform based on them.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold DIY Mower harmless from claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the app, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the app at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms.
